The China-Laos Kunming Wanzhou Railway is an electrified railway connecting Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, and Vientiane City, Laos. It is built by China under the national railway grade I standard. It is the first flagship project of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries of a multinational railway that is mainly invested in and built by China, jointly operated, and directly connected with the Chinese railway network.
