OYH Overseas Development Group and BICHUMI GLASS CO., LTD. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on April 10 at OYH’s headquarters and R&D base, formalizing a partnership focused on integrated glass and sealant solutions for the South Korean market. 

Representatives from both sides attended the signing ceremony. BICHUMI GLASS was represented by President Sungdae Lee, General Manager Simon Kwon, and members of its management team. OYH was represented by Nancy Hu, Asia-Pacific President of the Overseas Development Group; Kang Songling, General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Trade Division; Li Bing, General Manager of the Adhesives Business Division; and Cheng Peng, Director of Product Supply, Adhesives Business Division.

BICHUMI GLASS is a South Korean leader in flat glass distribution, as well as the development and manufacturing of insulating glass and energy-efficient glazing. In addition to its core glass products, the company also supplies the HYPER series of supporting materials. With its long-standing presence in the industry, BICHUMI GLASS has established a solid position in the local market.

Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop integrated “glass + sealant” system solutions for the South Korean market. By combining OYH’s expertise in sealants and adhesives with BICHUMI GLASS’s local market knowledge, customer network, and distribution capabilities, the partnership will initially focus on high-end residential, commercial, and energy-retrofit projects.

OYH, originally founded on waterproofing solutions, has expanded its offerings to include architectural coatings, building repair, thermal insulation, dry-mix mortar products, nonwovens, and specialty films. Its adhesives business, one of OYH’s core segments, benefits from strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities. Focused on sustainable, durable, and safe application performance, the adhesives division covers four main solution areas: home decoration sealing, window and door systems, curtain wall systems, and home adhesive applications. The business has been recognized as one of China’s Top 10 Preferred Brands in Construction Adhesives.
