OYH’s 140th Canton Fair Wrap-Up

From October 23 to 27, 2026, we welcomed new and longstanding partners to our booth at the 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou. Five days of product presentations and face-to-face discussions brought opportunities to explore project requirements, share application expertise and strengthen business relationships.

Marking a decade of participation in the Canton Fair, we showcased high-performance waterproofing solutions for international markets, supported by our broader construction materials portfolio. The displays connected materials with their applications across roofs, exterior walls, interiors and underground spaces, extending to transport and municipal infrastructure.

This approach gave visitors a way to explore how products work together. In roofing, waterproofing needs to work alongside the other layers of the roof assembly. In bathrooms, substrate preparation, waterproofing and tiling require careful coordination. Underground applications call for material selection that accounts for structural details and construction conditions. These examples illustrate why material selection benefits from a system perspective. A product’s suitability depends on where it will be used, how it interacts with adjacent materials and how it will be installed and maintained.

As a construction materials and system solutions provider, we continue to expand our portfolio with waterproofing at its core. Combining products across categories with application expertise helps us support informed decisions about materials and their use. At the fair, our sales and technical teams discussed product applications with visitors while learning more about their projects and local market requirements.
Visitors also stopped for photos with YOHO, adding a lighter touch to the business conversations and capturing memories of their time at the booth.

Project discussions also involve practical questions about purchasing, delivery and ongoing support. Refurbishment work must account for existing substrates and installation schedules, while phased construction requires deliveries aligned with project progress. Local environmental conditions and construction practices add further considerations.

These requirements help guide our investment in local operations. Drawing on our experience in product development and project applications, we continue to align product selection, technical support and supply arrangements with regional needs.

We have established local operations in 18 countries and regions and are strengthening our overseas manufacturing and supply network. Our facilities in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia have begun production, while work is progressing on manufacturing, R&D and logistics facilities in Houston, Mexico and Canada.

As this network develops, our aim is to bring production, technical resources and service closer to customers—supporting more reliable supply and a better understanding of local project conditions.
Thank you to everyone who visited us in Guangzhou. Our focus now is on following up those conversations, clarifying project requirements and coordinating product, supply and application support. We look forward to working with partners worldwide to build a safer, more durable and more sustainable built environment.
