NRCA Delegation Visits OYH

Ahead of the 2026 China International Roofing & Waterproofing Expo, a delegation from the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) visited OYH from October 24 to 26. The visit focused on OYH’s research and manufacturing capabilities, U.S. roofing requirements and opportunities for industry collaboration.

The delegation toured the China Building Waterproofing Museum, the corporate showroom and the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Waterproofing Materials at OYH’s headquarters. The tour highlighted the development of China’s building waterproofing industry and OYH’s work in materials research and performance testing. At OYH’s manufacturing facility in Tangshan, the delegation observed automated production lines, process controls and final quality inspections for modified bitumen membranes and polyurethane waterproofing coatings. These visits demonstrated how OYH manages quality from research and testing through to manufacturing, supporting discussions on the application of its products and systems in U.S. roofing projects.

Discussions involving NRCA Chairman of the Board Chad Collins and OYH representatives—including Jeff Xiong, President of OYH Overseas Development Group; Sunny Fu, Vice President of OYH Overseas Development Group; and May Ding, Chief Expert in Waterproofing Technology at OYH Holdings—covered U.S. installation standards, roofing system selection and material requirements. Collins expressed appreciation for OYH’s work in materials research, product innovation and technical services.

Jeff Xiong emphasized that serving the U.S. market requires product performance, certification, regulatory compliance and responsive local support. He outlined OYH’s plans to develop distribution channels, strengthen local teams and services, and adapt products and systems to regional climates and construction practices. Sunny Fu also explored ways for OYH’s U.S. company and NRCA to maintain regular communication, share industry information and connect with local project needs.

The visit strengthened mutual understanding and provided further insights into U.S. roofing practices and market requirements. Both sides expressed interest in continuing technical dialogue and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
